I am running a server via Beastnode on the Vanilla 1.12.2 server jar for my girlfriend and i. we have played on my server before in the past and had no issues. we just picked minecraft back up and every time she joins she gets this message "internal exception: java.io.ioexception: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host". and it kicks her from the server. i don't get any message in the console other then it saying she disconnected.
We have tried Restarting her PC, installing the latest version of java, turning off windows fire wall, reinstalling minecraft, and restarting her router.
She just tried installing minecraft on her crappy laptop to see if she would still get disconnected and she doesn't. the issue seems to be with her PC. Both her PC and laptop is windows 10.
Thanks for the reply! We figured it out. It's actually her family using netflix. her internet is terrible so when someone is using something like netflix it uses all her bandwidth and times her out.
