I'm really at a loss at what to do... nothing I've tried has worked, every single mod will not load. It is obviously something to do with forge but I have no idea what.
I updated Java to the latest version, Java 8 Build 151... though I'm pretty sure there is a Java 9? Nonetheless, I updated. This is my JVM argument:
-Xmx8G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M
This is my Java EXE:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe
Using forge 2555, still get the same crash with my game.
On the bright side, when I load my server with no mods the server starts with forge and creates a world... however, when I put the mods back in it crashes again, with the same error...
it claims it doesn't exist, I also tried directing it to the java folder but it freaked out. So I copied the folder instead and put it with the other java version in the Minecraft runtime folder.
I then changed fixed the JVM argument to match that java version... then this happened when I tried to play:
Ok so after removing sponge it obviously loaded the server. I'm still curious why it's refusing to start and crashes, I kind of need the sponge add-ons...
The last post I'm making here, Sponge is obviously still in development so it won't run properly at all with the latest versions. If anyone else is having problems just remove sponge.
My game crashes instantly when I try to run it with ANY mods inside the 1.12.2 mods folder, this is the crash:
Crash with the single mod installed:
https://pastebin.com/zgAkhGb9
Crash with all mods installed:
https://pastebin.com/aGgXUs8J
Forge Version:
forge-1.12.2-14.23.1.2555-universal.jar
When I use forge 2544 it no longer runs, before installing other forge versions it used to initiate and start the game properly...
I am also having a problem with version 2555 on my server:
Server Crash:
https://pastebin.com/xBrDwGtw
I'm really at a loss at what to do... nothing I've tried has worked, every single mod will not load. It is obviously something to do with forge but I have no idea what.
I downloaded forge from here if this helps:
https://files.minecraftforge.net/
Any help would be extremely appreciated! I have projects I want to work on and this is stopping me...
Thanks,
Dan

Curse PremiumCouple things I noticed:
1. The launcher is using the "Java Lite" version of Java installed with the launcher. Try updating Java and set this version in the launcher.
2. You've changed the -Xms argument value. Never change this value. Change it back.
Have you tried making a world with just Forge only, no mods?
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Will update Java, and do you mean in the launcher? Also, where do I set the version, and do you mean the forge only world on my server?
Update:

I really need a solution to this, it's a major inconvenience.

Curse PremiumThis is my Java EXE:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe
The version that installs with the launcher.
I forgot to ask what launcher your using. If you can find the Java path in the launcher, just change it to the latest version you installed.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Whenever I try to set it to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_151\bin\javaw.exe

it claims it doesn't exist, I also tried directing it to the java folder but it freaked out. So I copied the folder instead and put it with the other java version in the Minecraft runtime folder.

No idea what to do...
Messed around with some stuff... still getting this crash tough:
https://pastebin.com/hdu97BKi
Did a completely fresh installation of Minecraft, installed forge 2555 and still got this error:
https://pastebin.com/p2fzQWbh
This is absolutely ridiculous...
Runs fine with just forge, it kills itself after I install even a single mod...

Curse PremiumHow many mods do you load when making the modpack? Try a few (3-4) at a time.
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
After a couple hours of testing each mod one by one, I finally rooted out the problem... this mod:
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/fence-overhaul?gameCategorySlug=mc-mods&projectID=246222
Now to try and get my server running...
Server is crashing with this:
https://pastebin.com/prB4ZuA8
Obviously, its sponge related, but what is causing it exactly, I have no idea.
Ok so after removing sponge it obviously loaded the server. I'm still curious why it's refusing to start and crashes, I kind of need the sponge add-ons...
