Long story short, regardless of the version of the installer, when i start up the game, the mojang screen doesnt come up rather its just white or black... when i wait a little, the sound of the main screen comes on and when i click randomly, i hear the game working... meaning the game is working it just doesnt show up as it should.

when i click "play" on the launcher, it works fine until the part where it should say "mojang" doesnt come up and then the sound of the main menu starts to play. the screen is completely white or black at this point and its very frustrating
