I used to run a server back in the day. I backed it up before i closed the server. I can't remember which version the map is on backup.
I recently opened in in minecraft and converted it so I could explore it. I came to realize that the map is 2gb large. I know this is really due to 1 or 2 players being nomads and they would just walk and walk and walk.
My question is if there is software or anything that I could put in a range (say 3,000 block from spawn) that would delete the rest of the saved map. I'm looking to throw this map up on a temp server so me and some friends can explore and check out everything we accomplished on it. But the 2 gb is a lot to upload.
