OK, so my pc is a relatively good computer, I have a GTX 1050 Ti, intel core2 quad q9550 2.83ghz, and 8gb ddr3. I can usually achieve 150+ fps just about anywhere. My GPU shouldn't be bottlenecking, but whenever I use shaders, I lag down to 30 fps on average. I have looked through most of the guides on optimizing fps with shaders, but have come to no conclusions. Please help.

ModeratorI bet the cpu is the issue. It's kinda old, 2008, you are wasting the point of having a high end gpu if the rest of the computer is obsolete
You need a better CPU for sure.
Yeah, I thought so, so I am currently in the process of upgrading to an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.6ghz.
