I'll make this short. Whenever I join servers, I can only get up to 3-5 fps. I've tried Optifine but that doesn't help in the slightest. It does look nicer, though.
Here are the specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K @ 3.50 GHz
GPU: Nvidia 660ti
RAM: 16 GB
It's from ~2012 but it handles every game I've thrown at it well on high settings, so I think I've screwed something up in Minecraft's settings.

Here's the JVM Arguments:
-Xmx4G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn2G
I usually have around 80 ms whenever I'm online, so it isn't connection lag.
I appreciate any advice!
Post a screenshot with F3 enabled. And put the JVM arguments back to default.
Update: It seems to have fixed itself. No idea how.
