My brother and I are trying to play minecraft together via LAN but we are experiencing some issues. We both have seperate accounts for minecraft Java Edition. When he opens an LAN world, it appears on my computer. however, when I click it, it wont connect.(the message: io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further informationappears)
I have tried to direct connect and disable my firewall and allow minecraft and java through my firewall, but nothing works. oddly, when I open a LAN world on my computer, my brother can access see it and enter into my LAN world. IDK if this helps but he has windows 10 for and operating system whereas i have windows 7.

If YOU can't connect to HIS world then the problem is with HIS computer. HE needs to allow MC and Java through the firewall.
