I've got an interesting bug where I get a frame stutter using an NVIDIA 1070. Check it out:
For troubleshooting I've taken the following steps:
Fully reinstalled MC java edition and the video drivers
Verified via several methods that NVIDIA drivers are up to date
Disabled NVIDIA overlay
Checked the known software incompatibility list (no conflicts that I can see)
Run the game without NVIDIA drivers installed (using only the graphics acceleration onboard with my processor I guess?)
Checked RAM usage (hovers around 40% with spikes up to 60% according to ingame overlay)
For what it's worth, I do not see this artifact when I run the game without the NVIDIA drivers installed. Also, the game was running smoothly several months ago. The more recent content updates seem to be screwing me up.
EDIT: I've just tested running the game with version 1.11.x and versions before 1.12 seem to work fine.
