Screen - 3840 x 2160, Currently set to 1920 x 1080
I've been having confusing issue concerning my fps in Minecraft.
The main issue is that for some reason when I run minecraft on my gpu, the performance is worse than when I'm running on the integrated graphics.
If I'm lucky I can get a steady 45 fps while on the gtx960m, but on the HD graphics I average around 80 fps.
I've only recently had this issue. When I was running vanilla minecraft 1.12, my gpu was putting me around 130 fps.
Later on I installed Optifine and with the all the video options I was able to push it 150fps. I'm not really sure what I did to cause this issue but I noticed it after I began to change the resolution of my screen to 4k. I reverted it back to 1080p, but after a few days I noticed a substantial drop in performance from my gpu. I updated the drivers and even uninstalled optifine to see if that was the issue but nothing changed. I haven't tried reinstalling Minecraft yet because id like to see if there a fix for this first. Not the best description I know but that all I know that I did, after that a while it was just not the same lol
Also I know my screen only has 60GHz refresh but still 60 to 30 fps is more noticeable than 120 to 90 fps, just lookin for a super smooth experience aight so gotta get that gpu back to normal.
I've included some screen shots in the attachments. If anyone has a fix for this or having same issue please let me know.
