Been having this problem for some time now and I've been entirely unable to play. I boot up the new launcher, and immedialy am met with
"Game Crash" -
"The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated"
I've gone through the process with AMD of updating my drivers several times not (using their detect program) and am still facing this problem. Down below, I've linked my copy of my DxDiag. I'm hoping one of you guys can help me out. Thanks in advance!
When I hit "View crash report", nothing comes up. Let me get the old launcher (it was doing it there too) and I'll brb
EDIT - Here's the paste bin for the crash report. Keep in mind, it's coming from the old style launcher as the new one refuses to display the crash report for me. http://paste.ubuntu.com/25896601/
I'm about 5 minutes away from email customer support at Mojang and seeing what they have to say.
Mojang does not have a technical support team, they will refer you back to this site anyway. The issue of yours is the Lack of updated graphics drivers, in particular lack of opengl support of your drivers. You need to update/reinstall your drivers from scratch, straight from your drivers manufacturer.
