I am extremely frustrated at the lack of help, I realize everyone's computer set up is different, but I have seen this issue posted time and again on the forum. Can minecraft please post a 'try this' with consolidated options on the site?
If anyone has any other suggestions on how to fix this, please help.
Last time I had a problem like this I was a suncert error and it never resolved. I had to uninstall Windows 10 and go back to 7 on my old computer.... well, this is a Windows 10 computer, I don't have that option.
I've been unable to login to multiplayer for over a month. I get this error message:
"Failed to connect to the server
Failed to login: The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance"
the server owner and other players are able to login.
I am on Windows 10
Latest minecraft release (as is server).
I have the latest java update.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft.
I've restarted my UVerse internet and computer
I have checked all of the firewall and antivirus settings to let Minecraft through.

Oh, and if it helps any, my skin doesn't show up on my single player games either.
Run a scan with malwarebytes. If nothing else helps there is always the option to factory reset the computer.
