Hello. I'm currently having a problem with my Minecraft Launcher.
Every time I hit the " Play " button on my Minecraft Launcher to boot up 1.8 ( old laucnher ) it boots up for a second then goes back to the launcher and says,
" Error: Could not find or load main class net.minecraft.client.main.Main
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release "
I DUNNO Y IT DO DA!??!?!
I've haven't had the problem before in the past and I don't know why it is doing it now?

edit profile - JVM arguments, and remove the "-XX:CMSIncremental" option. generic java warning is moot.
For the launcher bug, we've been waiting 12 hours now for a fix. they fixed Windows 10 inside of 20 minutes, but have left everyone else in the dark.
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-121292
It boots up to the Mojang screen but it just returns to the launcher and says

Never MInd... I've gotten it to work and I've been testing out what versions I could use...
It seems I can only use 1.0 - 1.7.2 for me.
but it works.
yo
The issue for 1.8 has been fixed for me. I don't know about everybody else.
Thanks.
