Whenever I kill a mob, it will make my game "time out" as if it were in multiplayer then show me the "searching for local games" screen on multiplayer, even though I'm in singleplayer. I think it has to do with Ichun's Morph Mod, but I'm not sure how to fix it since I don't want to uninstall the mod. When I "kill" the mob it's really just 2-3 hits w/ diamond sword and then the game times out. Then when I open it again the mob is gone and I now have it in my morph selection. Any ideas? I'm using a shaderpack and a few other mods but I've used these all before and have never had a problem with it.
I did some research a while back. The answer is simply to degrade to a different version of Optifine. It's Optifine's built-in shaders that mess with it. I've forgotten which version to downgrade too, but it should be B4 or B5 I believe. Something from 2016.
