Hi! So I recently found this problem with my minecraft. Basically, about a month ago I factory reset my computer because it was really messy and I needed to reset it. So after I reset it, I re-installed all of the essentials like word, notepad, and all that. That all went perfectly fine, then I installed minecraft. So my minecraft client works fine, but when I try to join servers, I get a screen that says Connecting to server for about 10 minutes, then I get an error that says "io.netty.channel.Abstract.Channel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:" (Keep in mind that I didn't have this problem before I factory reset my pc). I've done hours of research trying to fix this but I've found nothing useful. I'm pretty sure its my dns that is blocking the connection, but I'm not sure. I don't know what more to do. I have McAfee as my anti-virus if that helps at all. Thanks for reading, and please respond ASAP. I really need to get this fixed.
Why can't you just simple tell me a fix? I'm not here to try and read the FAQ to find a fix myself. I'm not very computer smart with anti-viruses and stuff like that, so I don't want to uninstall McAfee. I've done months of research and I can't find anything.
