Hey, I recently got back into playing Minecraft again after leaving for two years. I got the game up and running just fine for roughly a week. Yesterday, however, I was playing just fine, I logged off for a bit but when I logged back in, my game crashed. It continued to crash for several hours, saying that there was an unexpected error. I deleted the .minecraft, I've uninstalled the game and somehow I got my game to run once more. Excited, I jumped back onto a server I've been playing on the last week but it was lagging so much, I couldn't even move. I was getting 1 FPS - 2 at max. I'm currently running on 1.12.2 but it does the same for every version
I've tried uninstalling Minecraft, putting it on the lowest possible settings, updating my drivers. Everything. Computer specs below
I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I created a new user on my computer and redownloaded Minecraft on there and transferred my old files to a thumb drive. Now, it works at 47¬50 FPS, still not as fast as it was before but at least it is playable now.
