I realize that i can't hear any sound and music coming from minecraft on version 1.7.2 or older but i can hear it on version 1.8 and later. Take note that i am using the new launcher still. Is there any possible solutions to fix this?
Never mind
Just had to install the old launcher and remove the new one. Sounds are working on all versions now.
