So last night I was happily playing minecraft (on the highest settings) going completely fine getting around 100-150 fps. I got bored so I shutdown my laptop, put it away and went to sleep. I woke up in the morning eager to play minecraft, only to find i was getting 1-10 fps (still on the highest settings). It was completely random as I had done nothing for it to happen. I have tried everything from reinstalling java to updating and reinstalling my NVIDIA graphics drivers. I go completely fine on any other game such as Skyrim (on ultra settings). I also allocated ram which didn't help either. If anyone has a solution it would be amazing if you could help me. Thanks!

Disable GeForce Experience Overlay.
I have never used GeForce Experience because it's rubbish.
In that case uninstall it, the less useless programs the better.
