I just started playing minecraft again after half a year on a new laptop, everything is hunky-dory except for some reason skins don't load.
My skin doesn't show up and I also can't see the skins of others in multiplayer.
I assumed it may of been something due to my firewall blocking out the skin server but I had added all aspects of minecraft to my firewall before playing.

Run the program, choose "I accept", then "Do a scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything, put the log on http://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.

I've even now tried playing with my firewall off and no optifine, still having this skin issue. o_o"
