So I have my laptop plugged into a TV because I like using the larger screen to play games when I'm at home. I don't know what the specs are for it, but my laptop's screen is turned off making the TV considered to be the main monitor by windows.
When I loaded up minecraft, at first everything was fine. But when it loaded into the menu it was 2x larger than it should have been LxW, so I could only see the top left corner of the menu. This sometimes happens when programs load on my laptop screen and don't update when I switch to the TV so I tried to close it and restart (Which has fixed everything until now) and it still was too big
I then tried restarting my laptop to see if that fixes it and when I tried to load it again I was met with a consistent game crash immediately after the Mojang loading screen when you boot the game.
Specs are 6 GB of RAM and 2.1 GhZ, intek i3 processor, 500 GB memory but is stored on disk drive which makes loading quite slow, but I dont think it is a tremendous issue for minecraft as it has worked fine over last several days.
As I said before I believe it to be an issue with the compatibility of the two screens, but most other programs including steam, google, photoshop and every other game I have tried on this setup works well so I assume this is something that can be fixed by Mojang at some point.
P.S. Tried unplugging TV and it now boots but the fullscreen is too small! only maybe 1/2 the needed LxW...

Reinstall MC from scratch.
