Hey, I don't really expect anyone to get back to me, but i'd really like it if a staff member or something read this.
SHORT VERSION
Existing Minecraft versions crash when joining a server or world, attempting to download a new launcher or Minecraft files stops immediately, however modded Minecraft works perfectly.
long one
So, I just got a new computer. It's not top of the line, but it runs minecraft at max at 60 frames. I have ok Wi-Fi at 2mb per second minimum. This computer has no problems with any of my 70 steam games. Those include a few of the CoDs, Subnautica, Sniper Elite 3 and 4, Hitman Absolution, you get the point. Modern games that I run without crashes and perfect frames. So, when I got my computer I started playing minecraft again with the technic launcher. It worked perfectly for a month or so, but then I started experiencing lag and terrible multiplayer frames. So, I would reload my router or computer and usually have no problems. But after a week or so of this, my game started crashing. A lot. Every 15 minutes or so, which was BEARABLE for me, but not for my competitive friends. So, this was really annoying and I put off downloading a new launcher because I'm lazy. So a few days later, I could not load up any words. No singleplayer, multiplayer, nothing. It would run perfectly for exactly 4 seconds, freeze, and crash. I downloaded the default launcher, it stopped downloading in the middle of the process. It wouldn't work, so I shut off ALL security and tried again. Same thing. "Cannot save files." So I redownloaded technic. Still crashed on worlds. I reinstalled and verified Java today, and nothing works. Since Technic still works, I decided to try to play modded Minecraft. I loaded up "Crafting Dead" A popular multiplayer mudpack for technic. It worked perfectly. With 10 players in view, I wouldn't get any lag and would stay at 60 frames. The game worked perfectly. No version of vanilla works, and I would like to play with my friends on multiplayer again soon. email- [email protected]
