When I play any mod-packs from any providers (ftb, technic, etc.) , it takes 1-2 minutes to get to that point in the loading screen provided bellow. At that screen, the fps according to fraps drops down to 1 and it proceeds to take 20-30 minutes for this screen to progress onto the next phase of loading which takes no time like at the beginning. (the modpack i used here was sky factory 3, a pretty big one).
