I'm unable to connect to any Minecraft multiplayer server, only receiving the "Failed to login: The authentication servers are currently down for maintenance" message. I am also unable see any custom skins in singleplayer.
I've confirmed that the authentication servers are up, allowed java on my firewall, restarted my router, and uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft. I've downloaded HiJackThis and have the logfile I was given here.
If anyone could be of assistance, it would be much appreciated.
It might be your "IObit Malware Fighter" causing problems? Perhaps you can disable or uninstall that?
More information would be helpful - what version of Minecraft; has it ever worked... when did it stop working? I think you're using Windows 10; are you using the 'normal' java Minecraft, or the Windows 10 edition? You said it fails on all multiplayer servers; does single-player work fine? Can you log in to your account at minecraft.net?

Disabling and uninstalling IObit Malware Fighter has unfortunately not solved the problem. I am on Windows 10. It's normal java Minecraft, to my knowledge. The latest release, 1.12.1. Singleplayer works alright, though custom skins do not appear on it. I am able to log into my account at minecraft.net. This is my first time playing it in a couple years. I downloaded it for the first time on this computer yesterday.

Uninstall Advanced system care.
