So I have had my Minecraft account for over five years and just recently I have been locked out. It started one day when I entered my log in information and got the error message "Login Failed: Invalid username or password." I tried a few more times, still no luck. So then I went to change my password, and waited an hour or two, then came back, and neither password worked. Now it has been three and a half days since the issue started and nothing has changed. I changed my password one more time just to try it and still nothing. I have contacted Mojang but they have just told me to wait 30 minutes, which did not work, and sent me to their site, which everything on there I tried multiple times, did not work. They now say I need to give them the transaction ID but I do not know if i will be able to find it as the receipt was over five years ago and I don't even know what method I paid with. Overall Mojang is being no help with any of this and I do not understand how such a big company is unable to make log ins work. Is anyone else having this issue? What should I do?
ONLY Mojang can assist with account issues as they are the ONLY people who can look at account data, so work with them and they will work with you.
Also they are not that big a team, Mojang is in total control of Minecraft, not Microsoft, so you are dealing with a small team still who does not have a 24/7 support team

Yes I understand they have a small team but the fact that I've told them multiple times that I've tried what they are saying, and they continue to say it, is annoying. So far they have not been working well with me.
and as i said, ONLY they can help you, no one outside of Mojang can fix account issues, this is why when you click the Mojang Account / Minecraft.net Support forum here it takes you to the Mojang help pages

I have an i5-7400 with 8 GB of 2400MHz RAM.
Oh my god.... Mojang emailed me a new username and password to try and log in with and still it doesn't work. What is wrong with Mojang!?!
