Apparently i have no firewall or antivirus what so ever anyways here's the error

Please fix the error and restart.

Nevermind i just had to download the launcher.pack.lzma manually off of firefox and copy it to the minecraft dir

just to help

download this https://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/launcher.pack.lzma

For Linux:

then copy and paste it to /home/myname/.minecraft

hit ctrl h to show .minecraft dir

then open it put drop file in that dir

For Windows:

then copy and paste it to %appdata%\.minecraft

hit Win r then type %appdata%

hit ok and open the minecraft dir

then drop it there

NEW PROBLEM

when i log into minecraft it takes forever to load *facepalm* And (Shakes Head)

even though the internet has a strong signal

Uh no I don't really have anything but the launcher files and the versions folder

when i mean take forever i meant i can't login

the loading just hangs there so can't login
