I'm trying to play with NotEnoughItems installed (Minecraft version 1.7.10; Forge version 10.13.4.1558). The game loads the mod perfectly, but then when I load a world, the NEI gui won't show in my inventory, and pressing 'O' does nothing. I've tried re-downloading the mod several times and have even reinstalled Forge, nothing seems to work. Can someone please help me?

why are you still playing 1.7.10 when there is 1.12.1
