Sorry if this is a bit out of topic but I couldn't find the right one..
Anyways so I was in my minecraft survival world just looking for a village cause I need some items that are exclusively found in the village, during the time of exploration I went through some glitchy stuff so let me list them down.
-Not being able to eat
Yep, I wasn't able to eat or at least my minecraft character unlearned how to chew. This was so bad like, my hunger bar was already so low that I needed to eat so bad, but minecraft was like nope.
-The sun won't move
This isn't such a bad glitch since I will not have to face any unwanted creatures during this exploration, but it's still bugging me for the fact that the sun would move a little bit and just goes back to it's sunrise form after a few seconds
-Blocks I place keeps disappearing
So during the exploration I encountered a river so I needed a boat, so I decided to lay a crafting table and should try start crafting one... Nope it just disappeared. So I tested this to a bunch of more blocks and still no luck
-Animals and other mobs don't even move
This is actually quite funny because I encountered a flock of sheep just looking and the same direction like savages. I mean it literally doesn't move even if you try to move them just to check if they need an update but still no they're just chillin.
-The torch needs to be updated to work
So I visited a cave if there are some things that I could find, and it was starting to get dark as I get deeper, so I placed a torch to light it up, but IT DIDN'T WORK! So every time I had to place a torch I had to press F3 and A at the same time to get it to work.
-Blocks I break keeps coming back
Yep I guess you could call these block immortal I mean... I don't even have to explain
Well there you go, those are most of the glitches that I found. Tell me what's going on because these glitches could potentially kill me or probably the developers just rushed this update I mean they're launching updates rapidly.

Yep, I wasn't able to eat or at least my minecraft character unlearned how to chew. This was so bad like, my hunger bar was already so low that I needed to eat so bad, but minecraft was like nope. This here sounds like lag of some sorts, since every now and then I get bad lag even on my survival single player world, which makes it impossible to even eat when needed. Since these days, Minecraft actually treats single player like it would be multiplayer game, don't know why they did it like that tho... Other than that, I don't believe it's Minecraft being broken, just asking, what kind of computer you have?
-The sun won't move
This isn't such a bad glitch since I will not have to face any unwanted creatures during this exploration, but it's still bugging me for the fact that the sun would move a little bit and just goes back to it's sunrise form after a few seconds This here sounds like you have accidentally disabled day-night cycle. Not sure about this though... (/gamerule doDaylightCycle true/false)
-Blocks I place keeps disappearing

I mean it literally doesn't move even if you try to move them just to check if they need an update but still no they're just chillin. Yep. Lag, or AI related glitch/bug, I bet it's lag tho...

So every time I had to place a torch I had to press F3 and A at the same time to get it to work. Well, Minecraft lighting engine is bit wonky every now and then, I can't say anything about this tho...
-Blocks I break keeps coming back
Yep I guess you could call these block immortal I mean... I don't even have to explain Block lag, again. Annoying, but nothing dangerous, and nowhere near a "glitch" or "bug".

My thoughts are bolded, I tried not to be too rude and/or harsh towards you, but if you got offended, I am very sorry about it. It is not my intention to insult you on this matter.
The problem isn't 1.12. I've played vanilla 1.12 since the snapshots and the unstable FTB modpack for 1.12 and haven't had any of those issues. I also haven't seen anyone mention them before in any of the feedback and opinion threads on the update. I think you need to troubleshoot your computer and game instead of blaming the devs.
My pc is slightly weak if you compare it against computers of today. Anyhow if you need to know my memory specifically i have 12gb of ram and 4gb allocated to minecraft. And I am already using optifine
How powerful is your PC exactly? To be exact: how much memory do you have? Because it looks to me as if your computer simply doesn't have the required resources to run the game in an optimal way. Almost every example you shared points in this direction.
Best options you have from here are to check the command line which starts the game, you may be able to add some configuration there which can optimize things (specifically Java command line settings for more memory usage and a larger heap space). Otherwise it may help to go over your video settings and reduce as much detail as you can, that's also bound to help.
Finally, it may be worth considering OptiFine. There are no guarantees but it can definitely help you reduce the high demands a bit (but.. as said: it heavily depends).
My pc is weak compared to the conputers of today but specifically i am running 12 gb of ram and i am using optifine and reduced ALOT of setting just to get this game to 300fps
Survival can be played in Multiplayer as well. It's just that almost all of those points you mentioned are commonly associated with server lag, so it could have been a connection problem.
But if you aren't, I might be your PC lagging out because it can't handle the game. It's some sort of lag anyways. I recommend following ShelLuser's advice, and downloading Optifine. That can boost your performance by a ton, and might fix some, if not all of the issues you're experiencing.
Yeah i don't think it's my pc cause this thing can run demanding games and i have used optifine already to increase fps which was helpful

My response are in italic
I have been running minecraft with this computer for years and i haven't been getting "peculiar" issues like these since I updated to 1.12 I also don't think it's 1.12's fault but the fact that I have been getting issues since 1.12, something is going on here

nope i kinda mentioned i was in a minecraft survival world
He/she (don't know which one the op are, so...) did say, that he/she was on his/her survival world, so I guess Survival Single Player.

This sounds like a case of "I've got a beast computer, so let's put everything on max settings". Maybe try lowering the settings?
This happened to me, because 1.12 is not for the lowend computer, only fix I know is to host the server, it less laggy that way.
My pc is slightly weak if you compare it against computers of today. Anyhow if you need to know my memory specifically i have 12gb of ram and 4gb allocated to minecraft. And I am already using optifine

Lol i did think of that but no i reduced the settings to very low that i couldnt even tell if i bred a couple correctly
Intel core i7 geforce gt 740m 12GB of ram.... i don't think it's underpowered
Lol i think someone already mentioned that i could get connection issues from survival servers
so i just made a new world in 1.12.... i couldn't even break a tree

yeah i regret blaming them
what is your system spec? my computer can't run 1.12 single player but I don't really care as I just play older mods.
