The solution is to get a new, fresh copy of Minecraft. To do this, go to the .minecraft folder (C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft) or run %appdata%\.minecraft then go to the versions folder and delete the folder that ocntains version you are playing (Example: 1.12)(Delete the folder, not the jar file only). Once deleted, open the launcher then download the fresh version. Now it will run with no error.
