A couple years later and it still happens. I have been playing on my Work laptop but its about to go away when I switch jobs. So I am setting Minecraft back up on my computer, and I get this error on fresh installs, creating new worlds, opening/closing, etc. It doesn't matter what I do, it will still crash randomly, and sometimes it works great. I don't know what is going on, but hoping I can get this fixed. Thanks in advance!

I am using the launcher with all default settings.
Update:
I removed minecraft and installed Java 8.131 and used the old launcher and it still crashes the same but less frequently.
