I've been trying to get an ender pearl chicken for the better part, if not longer than 2 weeks now and still haven't gotten one. I got 3 sets of 10-10-10 nether quarts and diamond chickens breeding for it but still no ender pearl chicken. Is there something I'm missing? A glitch in the game?

2 of the sets are adjacent to each other and connected to hoppers and the other set if free roaming and I manually breed them. Still no luck in getting a ender pearl chicken. Am I missing something?
