Hello. I haven't really played mc in a while since I updated to the new launcher. A bit ago, I went back to play and when I tried to join any server for multiplayer I kept getting the same error message: Internal Exception: java.lang.Error: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: AES KeyGenerator not available
I have looked up this error message and found a thread, but the solutions suggested didn't fix the problem for me. I don't have any mods or resource packs installed. (I've tried reinstalling java, deleting everything in the %appdata% folders except my saves and opening the game again, I've disabled my firewall to make sure nothing was blocking minecraft in any way then enabled it again)
Nothing so far. I've attached a snip of the error message and of my minecraft output log when I start the game and try to join servers. There seems to be a few errors but I have no idea how to fix them.
Strange, though this is a Java error, not specifically one from Minecraft itself. The built in version of Java should work, have you changed what version of Java the game uses? If not, the only suggestion I have is to backup any save files, uninstall Minecraft completely and reinstall it. Otherwise, contact Mojang tech support.

Before, I had never messed with the version of Java minecraft uses. Java recommened me the new Update 8 Version 141 just now released today. After getting the new java, minecraft still wouldn't launch so I went into the launch settings and changed the java executable path to the new java. I'll have to change the path once I update Java again but that's not a problem. Thanks for the help! It's greatly appreciated.
