hello, i am running minecraft on my lenovo legion y700 on mineplex just fine, but my brother, who is using my old laptop, is constantly getting kicked from the server with time out errors and another common error i cant remember (it is a long one). Ive never had a problem with that laptop in the past, although i did reset it before giving it to him. ive tried allowing the port, deleting .minecraft, restarting the computer, and clearing DNS, but nothing seems to work. he can play for about three minutes at a time before getting kicked. the only thing i can think about is when he first started connecting he alloweed windows to do something, but he clicked it too fast for me to read. i think it may have been the firewall, so i allowed several java functions through, but i didnt see one specific to minecraft, and it didnt help. i cannot seem to turn off the firewall (the selection is bold black and doesn't let me click), and i would rather not do that anyways. and suggestions would be appreciated.
