ok so today I was playing a 1.7.10 modpack with my brother and since it was thundering he connection was bad so we turned it off and now all of a sudden when I join my world and open the lan so he can join it doesn't work and it doesn't want to connect at all. It just keep saying searching or whatever it says when it looks for the servers. And so I decided to check minecraft the latest version (no mods) and that doesn't work either if he tries to join
so I need help fixing this problem
I do not have firewall on and neither does he
and also I did checked all the options the Java had on advanced settings on firewall settings so idk what to do

We turned the game off not the network also yes we are using the same wifi network
and I had firewall off since I got my laptop bc that's what I saw on YouTube if u wanted to play on lan
mans plus it can't be firewall bc it never did this before
he can join my lan world with direct connect it's just annoying putting all that information everytime he joins my world
instead of turning off Firewall, just allow Minecraft port through your firewall. How-to? that depends on your ISP.
