I have been unable to play almost any modpacks, when I download them and play them the main menu is like super slow, when I hover the cursor over a menu option nothing happens for like 10 seconds before it gets highlighted, but I was able to play mod packs with no problem at all.

It had some problems and and had to have fry's repair it.

Curse PremiumHave you checked to see if all the relevant software has been updated? Like drivers, Java, etc?
The repair shop may have returned the PC with factory settings.
