Yesterday I had the exact same issue. My game wouldn't launch because apparently there was something wrong with my resource packs. I removed them, used the Repair function in the MinecraftInstaller and my game worked again- but today it doesn't. I've removed all resource packs, server resource packs, maps and still the game keeps crashing. I've tried repairing it countless times and even deleted and re-installed the game, yet nothing seems to work.
