If you have a dedicated graphics card, try running it with the card when you start the game, I think the game by default would use the computer's integrated graphics card... It helped me a bit but it might not make too much of a difference on yours, you can give it a try.
You can try adding the game to your graphics card's control panel or settings. And updating the driver could help, I never had such problems so I can't tell from experience though.
You might want to just play around with the graphics options and see which ones increase your frame rate while also not sacrificing graphics too much. There are probably a few options that wont make the game look much worse but still help your FPS. Turning down render distance could also help, but if that's important to you I can see why you wouldn't want to turn it down.
Hi guys, can anyone tell me how I can increase my fps?
I have already done these: downloaded
Download optifine and fps+
Allocate more memory to Minecraft
Allocate more memory to Java
Deleted junk files
Scan computer for viruses
I DID NOT turn down my settings because it would look bad
Used a low resolution texture pack
set java priority to high in task manager
But I am still only getting around 30 fps in multiplayer and 40 fps in single player and I have a decent computer.
Someone, please help me, thank you!

Curse PremiumIf you're using a Windows operating system, it might be in the menu when you right-click. This is what mine looks like:
If you're using Mac or Linux, I have no idea where the settings would be, I've always used Windows x_x
I use windows and I have 2 graphics cards, and I don't have run with graphics processor option
And does updating your driver help?

Big elephant in the room no one is addressing. Optifine. It'll increase your fps by 2x.
