I know. I've tried so many different solutions that i've seen. The programs that are usual causes for this issue? I don't have them. Reinstall minecraft? So many times. Let app through firewall? I've done that (And have tried disabling it all together for a minute).
Now I do want to say I did some research myself that could potentially help.
Whenever I try to download Minecraft - Vanilla or modded, doesn't matter - the launcher is always unable to download a file.
I found that the most likely reason for this is that any folder named 8e is automatically deleted from the hard drive by an unknown program or process. I've been trying to figure out what is deleting it but I have been unsuccessful.
Anyone else having this problem, or have any ideas what programs could be automatically deleting that file?
I would like an answer ASAP since this has been going on for quite a while.
