Since the new update, my single player games lag badly. I get delays with Blocks and the game begins stuttering and freezing. When I check my task manager, it seems to consume a LOT more memory than it used to. When playing on my Realm, none of this happens, the game plays normally...any idea as to why my single player would be doing this?
And no, I do not use mods or addons or such, I don't even use resource packs.

You mean since the update you set the render distance on max and now it won't work.
This further proves my point.
