I just downloaded this game after a while, haven't played since 1.7.10, but anyway, whenever i run or look around on the game, i get a diagonal line going from top left corner of my screen to bottom right corner. It does not matter if i have vsync on or off, the tearing is there.. I have tried optifine but it only minimizes the tearing, it is still there though and very noticeable. What is strange about this is i have the windows 10 version of minecraft, and i get absolutely no screen tearing at all!
I cannot screenshot it because it doesent show up on picture, however i have found multiple people with the same issue, Here is with the screen looks like when playing minecraft on my nvidia graphics card, and yes i tried toggling between vsync on and off, but nothing seems to work, so im forced to use integrated graphics card.

Can you take a screenshot? You have vsync turned ON in nvidia settings?

A diagonal line its not tearing, that would be a horizontal line and the image cutted between two places.
If its happening in other games apart from minecraft9like its shown in your screenshot), then its a problem with your pc or monitor, not Minecraft
