I've been able to play minecraft before, but after getting a new hard drive put into my computer with windows 7 home premium, which minecraft worked on before I made the mistake of upgrading to windows 10, which was installed via a data stick from dell that contains the windows 7 os, I'm unable to play minecraft. here's the error I got;
or at least the thing that came up anyway. had it set to compatibility mode for windows 7, doesn't seem to work.
what happens is that when I click the play button, it starts what it usually does and looks as if its about to launch it, but then the game crashes and I'm not sure what to do, also I do apologize if someone else has already done a post similar to this one. also, the message I'm getting now is as follows;
