Hello, my name is connorz_123 and recently i have been having a problem with the native launcher not updating, but i have found a solution that will solve your problem. except for the last part
When you open your native launcher, it should be downloading and when it is finished downloading, it could say different error messages. Mine said 'Error 5: Problem with copying the file'.
All you have to do is right click your minecraft icon, click open file location. In that folder there should be a txt file named nativelog.txt. you open that file and look for the website url in the txt file, beside 'started download of'. Copy and Paste the url in your browser, automaticly you should see a download bar and it has the correct and fixed minecraft file that we need, open that and it should open the launcher and it says, repair minecraft and it is loading.
But, the launcher comes up, i try to log in and it says password or username not recognized.
Any Suggestions?
