Minecraft used to work perfectly while using the override Anti aliasing from the nvidia control panel but when i try to do the same now it has these weird lines and blurred textures all over, making it unplayable, and i really liked playing the game with Antialiasing because, when it worked properly, it looked amazing !!
the way i enable Antialiasing is by going to C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
and then opening the options.txt in notepad and changing
fboEnable:true
to
fboEnable:false
then going to NVIDIA control panel
Manage 3D settings
Program Settings
and the i click Add to add java
and then changing the following settings:
and this used to work FLAWLESSLY
the game had no visual glitches and the AA looked amazing
i went from using a GTX 570 to a GTX 770
so i don't know if the issue was due to the hardware upgrade
or new nvidia drivers
or a windows update
or a minecraft update, i doubt it's minecraft since i tried downloading the alternate downloads and using older versions of the game and the old launcher from here: https://minecraft.net/en-us/download/alternative , but i might be wrong
in between blocks there are these pink red white or blue lines and textures looks smeared and blurred and it looks absolutely terrible
the AA is still applied as you can tell by the blocks in the far distance
and oddly enough, blocks that you face directly do not have blurry textures
and the mipmap levels setting is off in minecraft in case you were wondering
if anyone has a solution, it would be very much appreciated, thank you
