Alright, so for about 3 days now I've been experiencing "The black screen of death" when loading a specific minecraft world. I'm using a modpack (Enchanted Oasis on Technic) When I first made the world on some occasions the screen would go black but return to normal soon after. But this time it's turned black and hasn't fixed itself, I can still hear noises as well as press esc and open my inventory, I can disconnect from the world (if I can find my way to the button) and return to the main menu, and now I can see the menu? I can login to other worlds and see just fine, it seems it's just this specific world.

Since there's no specific crash, I would guess it's a video card / driver issue. Since the screen is black, but everything is still running (you hear sound, can open inventory, etc) the game is still running, it's just the video isn't being displayed.
Unless there's something in that modpack that gives you blindness?

Alright, so for about 3 days now I've been experiencing "The black screen of death" when loading a specific minecraft world. I'm using a modpack (Enchanted Oasis on Technic) When I first made the world on some occasions the screen would go black but return to normal soon after. But this time it's turned black and hasn't fixed itself, I can still hear noises as well as press esc and open my inventory, I can disconnect from the world (if I can find my way to the button) and return to the main menu, and now I can see the menu? I can login to other worlds and see just fine, it seems it's just this specific world.

Since there's no specific crash, I would guess it's a video card / driver issue. Since the screen is black, but everything is still running (you hear sound, can open inventory, etc) the game is still running, it's just the video isn't being displayed.
Unless there's something in that modpack that gives you blindness?
