After playing with a friend on Realms for a little while, we noticed that our world would not let us join. At the time the only information it gave us was that the connection timed out. We could not figure out a solution, so we just let our subscriptions end since we didn't have a world to play on. I have previously saved this world, but downloading and launching the most recent backup just leads it to say "Loading World, Building Terrain", as it normally would, and then it goes straight to 0% and does nothing (images of what is happening will be attached to this thread). I'm not entirely sure what is happening at the moment, so if anyone on this forum has answers or questions regarding my situation, please get to me quickly. Thank you!
Update: I got the launcher log to remain visible. It was not much of a challenge.
Update 2:After waiting for a while, the world did load, surprisingly. I cannot see any blocks, not can i move or jump.
I can access my inventory, and even go into the creative menu.
Update 3: After waiting for a long time, the world did load, very slowly, but it did load. I believe that the problem was, and get this, an over abundance of chickens. At the time, i was fiddling around with commands, and I ended up spawning an "endless waterfall of chickens". It was a joke, and i would stop it after a second or two, bt my friend left it running for a long time, leaving chickens everywhere. I'm not sure how this affected the world so badly, but it did. I stopped the waterfall and saved and quit the world, but upon trying to enter it again it looks like it didnt save. I'm not sure if that's my fault, or if the game just can't save. I'll see i suppose.

Once it loads, you can try putting "/kill @e[type=chicken]" into a command block. This should kill all the chickens. Alternatively, you can try using a third-party editor to remove them manually, though this is probably more difficult.

Yes, I have already done this (i actually already had a command block ready for a situation like this). After I did, the world worked fine. All of the chunks were loaded, and I could move and place blocks free of lag. The only issue is, now it will not save even after I get everything back up and running again. Even though the exit button says "Save and Quit to Title", its not saving.

Are you still running it through the server? Saving might be disabled on the world. Can you post a copy of the launcher log?

Does this happen with all worlds, or just this one? Do you know how to set your launcher log to be always visible?

Wah.
It's just this particular world save.
I have no idea how to do that; I'll look into it
