I just purchased the Eternal rank on Mineplex and when I try to play on the server after over the past few days it says ''internal exception: java.io.ioexception: an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host''. When I am playing on the server it just forge, notenoughitems optifine, and my shaders. I never have this issue on any other server except for Mineplex. Please help. I already tried uninstalling the antivirus.

mineplex doesnt allow mods

on their site, it says there are accepted mods. I{t just depends what they are, but it shouldnt be correlated with that.

That means they closed the connection. Try in vanilla

I will try it when I get chance tomorrow. Its just weird because why would that be the case if they have a list of accessible mods, plus usually this error effects all servers not one.

You never know if they updated something on their end that is breaking, they are known for using experimental versions of bungeecord

it did not work on vanilla either, to get a little more insight, what normally happens is that all entities freeze in place for awhile and then go back to normal then it happens again then the error happens, at least thats how it is the first time each session otherwise after that its usually more immediate.

Uninstall AVG

I tried that already, still happened after that. I reinstalled since I like it better the Windows Defender and I have a paid subscription for it.
