I have been playing modded Minecraft for what seems like years and have not run into this problem before. Regardless of which launcher I use, I pop an LWJGL error. This only started today, and I can't see that I've done anything different than normal.
I can't seem to sort out much of what it says, but, the red areas are about Pixel format, LWJGL errors, and OpenGL context. I've looked around on the great Google, but nothing seems to work. This is a persistant error across ATLauncher, MultiMC, and Technic. I'm running the latest driver for my video card (NVIDIA GTX 970), my OS is up to date, and I'm current on Java. Please help me sort this out. Thank you!
Thanks for the response. Yeah, it looks like I'm using 375.66, the latest "stable" driver. What has left me confused is that everything was working just fine yesterday and no updates have been posted since before then. I can make an attempt at reverting back to an older version, but it always takes a bit of time. As I'm running Linux, I haven't found a very efficient way to do so yet. I'll do my best and post back. Thanks again Herb_. I always appreciate a helping hand.
So, apparently that specific version of the driver 375.66 has had issues on Windows machines and they released a hotfix for it. It was a problem specifically for Java based games like Minecraft. Instead of reverting back, I pushed forward into the 381 branch. It involved adding a new PPA, but I am ok with that. I pushed it to 381.22 and now it is working fine. I can't thank you enough for kicking my brain on, though. I don't tinker with the Linux of things very often. I'm very "If it isn't broken, don't fix it." Seriously, thank you for the help! Is there a +1 or gold or something I can do on here for you? Either way, thank you!!
It could have happened several days ago when I pushed Ubuntu to 17.04, but Minecraft was working just fine afterward. I know there was a code update to Linux when I upgraded. Maybe it had a delayed reaction, or just the right amount of wrong occurred. Either way, all better! Now, back to Sky Factory 3!
Your thanks is enough, and very much appreciated. Glad I could help.
I investigated "automatic updating" for Nvidia under Linux (because it applies to me too), but upon investigation, I think I'll stick to manual. And if it ain't broke... etc.
But generally, it's worth looking at drivers when the errors are about LWJGL.
installing via the ppa means auto updating, same as everything on ubuntu

Hello!

Here is a link to the crash report (I think): http://paste.atlauncher.com/view/af173dd1
