i installed optifine and it works perfectly. but whenever i try to use a shader it freezes and crashes when i try to do anything after it freezes. it doesn't give me a crash report or anything, just the "Game Crash. an unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. we're sorry for the inconvenience." i tried to use a very basic shader called "Sildurs Vibrant Shaders v1.163 Lite" which should run on basically anything. i have a very good alienware gaming laptop:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60GHz

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

i'm open for any suggestions

Tried giving the game more memory? (It's the best thing I can think of off the top of my head)

tried that, didn't work

Chances are, that shader pack isn't as light as it claims then. Might try a different one.

i tried a whole bunch of different ones. it always does the same thing

I personally don't know of anything else to try right off hand without doing a little research. Also, I assume you're running on integrated graphics?

no i'm running it on high-graphics NVIDIA processor

this might be useful for most problems, but not for me. when u read my first post i clearly said that the game crashes after it freezes. anything i try after freezing makes it crash even alt+tab. and when the game crashes and kicks u back out to the launcher this output log window gets all white and all the information is gone

It should still be in latest.log inside .minecraft

That doesnt look like a full crash report, and from the log it looks like you might be using Optifine for a older version of Minecraft

it's the full log not the crash report because i'm not getting one and i'm using the newest version of optifine available at this very moment...
