I've had this issue since 1.8 and it's continued through all updates since and is in all snapshot versions and even when running optifine

I've tried all sorts of different things and can't find anything really helpful on google to resolve this issue - if anyone has a fix for this that would be very helpful.

Usually it would occur once or twice upon starting the game and it'd be easy to just close MC and restart it, but it's not gotten to the point where I will have to close and reopen around 40-50 times before it will finally load the games actual textures.

Are you running normal game texture?

Do this happen on other texture packs as well?

This happens with default texture, and all texture packs.

Also even holding F3 + T to reload textures doesn't fix the issue.

It could be your driver that is causing the problem, update it.

I've had trouble with my driver before - but says it's the latest version.

Not sure what else I could do?

I'd like to go back to windows 7 but it was my mom who decided to upgrade upon replacing our old HDD.

Honestly I don't know if the problem ever occurred or not on windows 7, I'd have to look at old files.

Honestly I don't know if the problem ever occurred or not on windows 7, I'd have to look at old files.
