Okay, so I'm brand new to Minecraft, I've only recently gotten the game as a gift. I've downloaded and installed, but when I try to open the launcher nothing happens. I can go to task manager and see that Minecraft is running, but still nothing shows up. I've tried running as Administrator, still nothing happens.
I've deleted the .minecraft folder, it does absolutely nothing (probably because there is close to 0 data).
I've uninstalled, and reinstalled, and nothing works.
I really want to play Minecraft, I know it's a really fun game, but I can't run it! Please help!

enter the Minecraft folder
Click an icon, named "launcher"
