so for my control panel, i set my minecraft to run on my nvidia 940mx, but its running on my intel i7 processor. i have 50-60 fps, which is fine, but i know i could have more. i want to bring it up, since im going to start modding again. my cpu on f3 says im using intel, which i dont want.
ive tried:
going to control panel and changing it
changing in game resolution
going in geforce experience
changing my minecraft profile
^very vague, i know but i'm so incredibly tired i just want suggestions. lol ty

Yup. Dual core. I have, that's what I already did. Doesn't work though. About that, I wholeheartedly doubt it. I'm lucky to even have a pretty okay laptop. So on Vanilla, I have 50-60 FPS, where on Modded with (supposedly) lagless shaders I have around 14-15 mods and had 50-60 on minimized tabbed mode. I brought my RAM limit to 4G on the profile and that seems to have made me able to fullscreen my game with the same supposed graphics and gave me 50-60. I'm still not completely satisfied. If I know that it could be better, then I want it to be Is this a normal FPS for my Nvidia/Intel? Even if I find a way to make my CPU Nividia, will it change? I have certainly heard Nvidia was supposed to be very fast.

Curse PremiumSounds like you also have an Intel GPU on the motherboard. The i7 is the CPU. Have you tried the nVidia Control Panel?
Your also on a laptop. Any chance you can switch to a desktop?
