Agree - it's very hard to determine what could be wrong without knowing what mods etc you are trying to load.
Just remember to stick the log into spoilers tags.....

At a guess I would say you are trying to load in a mod - possibly one that adds an extra button to Minecraft Game Settings page - & it doesn't like the resolution for some reason

It MAY be the line(s) that follows the one's you've posted could indicate what mod it is but having the full log would be better

EDIT.. Opps ninj'd - you must've update OP as I was typing...

The next line I see show 'com.codingforcookies.betterrecords' so I'll take a guess it's the 'BetterRecord' mod & the log seems to show you trying to use 1.7.2 version on Minecraft 1.7.10
